Phoenixville Bridges is our local version of the national powerful tool, Bridges Out of Poverty. Please join us virtually on Tuesday, March 8, from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. Register for the workshop.
Not sure what Bridges Out of Poverty is? It’s an innovative framework for addressing poverty in a comprehensive, collaborative way that is unique for each community. The goal is to prevent and eliminate local poverty. The concept helps create a network of people from every sector of the community to better understand economic class in our own neighborhoods. Bridges Out of Poverty challenges our collective understanding of poverty and changes practices at the individual, institutional, and community levels by creating a shared language of poverty.
Want to know more? Collaborating with the Chester County Coalition comprised of Bridges trainers throughout the county, virtual Phoenixville Bridges sessions are being held to continue the conversation. To attend a Bridges Out of Poverty and further share this information within the greater community, please check back often for dates and locations of future trainings.
