It’s our 6th Annual Music For Everyone! And it truly is Music for Everyone as a variety of genres are presented each year – pop, classical, Broadway, opera, spirituals, jazz and more – plus we also have fabulous sponsors who make it possible to gift tickets to neighbors who might not otherwise be able to enjoy such wonderful music.
Yes, this year will be different as is true of most of 2020, but much will be the same:
- Outstanding music that everyone can enjoy!
- Great opportunities to support our neighbors in need!
- Easy access so that everyone can join in the fun!
Orion Communities holds this event each year to celebrate our community and the unique collaborative spirit of the Phoenixville Area that works together to address unmet needs for our most vulnerable neighbors. We all know of Phoenixville’s rebirth from the ashes, but the reality is that we have neighbors who struggle to make ends meet. With the arrival of the coronavirus, Orion is seeing and helping families who have never before asked for assistance.
At the beginning of the state mandated lockdown, Mayor Peter Urscheler deemed Orion “a critical and essential community resource”. Our office never closed and we have found creative ways to continue to serve our neighbors in need.
Now, more than ever, Orion is called upon to keep people in their homes, assist them with getting to work, help access additional resources as well as explain to community leaders what we are hearing at ‘the street level’. We are grateful for the continued support that makes it possible to continue our mission.
We can’t all be together for our annual concert, but the virtual show will go on! We ask that you consider being a sponsor (perhaps at a higher level than last year), place an ad in the program or contribute to our silent auction. We also ask that you help spread the word so that everyone knows they can participate in this special event to support our neighbors who are struggling right now!
